webinvite hosts invitation websites. The couple or family who sent you an invitation (the "hosts") decide what it shows. This page explains what information the site handles and why.
What we collect
- Your RSVP: your name, whether you are attending, number of guests, meal preference and any note you add.
- Wishes: your name and the message you write.
- Your IP address, briefly: used only to block spam and repeated sign-in attempts. It is kept for a short time and then deleted automatically.
- What the hosts publish: names, family names, event details, photos, music and contact numbers they choose to share on their invitation.
How it is used
RSVPs and wishes are shown to the hosts so they can plan their event. Wishes may also appear on the invitation. We do not sell your information, show ads or use it for anything else.
Cookies and tracking
Guests get no cookies and are not tracked. There are no analytics or advertising tools. People who sign in to edit an invitation get one sign-in cookie and one cookie that remembers the editor layout. Both are needed for the editor to work.
Where it is stored
The site runs on Vercel and stores data with Supabase, our hosting and database providers. Invitation pages ask search engines not to list them.
How long we keep it
Your RSVP and wishes stay with the invitation until the hosts or we delete it. Deleting an invitation deletes its RSVPs, wishes, photos and music.
Your choices
To see, correct or remove what you submitted, ask the hosts, or contact us.
